Johnson completed his elementary education at Montclaire Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Football Career
Johnson initially struggled and got involved in fighting and crimes at Freedom High School. When he was 17, local police arrested him for fighting, stealing, and forging checks. He had also served a two-week suspension for fighting. Due to his criminal activities, the regional newspaper labeled him “a troubled teenager with a history of run-ins with police.” However, Freedom High School football coach Jody Cwik saw Johnson’s athletic talent and invited him to join his team to play defensive tackle. That’s when I started thinking about goals and what I wanted to accomplish.”

Johnson had only played football for two years till his final year. Dwayne Johnson got the title of one of the country’s top ten high school defensive tackles by college football recruiters.
