Aziz began her career at the age of 14. She started acting with the support of her older sister. She first auditioned as a television commercial model and was chosen by talent agency Citrus. Iqra continued to feature in television commercials to this day. She was later recognized by Hum TV co-producer Momina Duraid, who offered her a role in her series Kissey Apna Kahein.
