The first glimpse of Rockey Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is out now. This is Karan Johar’s comeback in his 25th anniversary year after a seven-year break as a director. His last movie in 2016 was Ae Dill Hai Mushkil.
Rockey Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani reunites Alia Bhatt with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh on the big screen again. The cast also includes veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles.
As per the news, the film also marks the first appearance of Saif Ali Khan’s and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan’s career in Bollywood.
It’s a romantic comedy movie by Dharma Production. Ranvir Singh is playing the role of Rockey. He is described as Yaroon ka yaar, rocking in every avatar, aur is ‘prem Kahani ka dildaar-Rockey.
And Alia Bhatt plays Rani, and she’s described as ‘Dilon ko dharkane a rahi hai woh – the ‘Rani’ of this prem Kahani.’
It’s a story of 2 families; Alia’s family is the Chatterjee’s and Ranveer’s family is the Randhawa’s, and the power of both families will decide the fate of love.
The movie will be released on 28th July.
